YEAH Contributes to Innovative Youth Cooperation Initiatives at Beyond Games: unlocked(!) in Armenia
YEAH was proud to contribute to the international seminar “Beyond Games: unlocked(!)”, held from 17–21 November 2025 in Armenia. The event brought together youth workers, trainers, project managers, youth leaders, and educational innovators from across Europe and neighbouring partner regions to explore creative approaches for strengthening international youth cooperation.

Organised by SALTO Eastern Europe and Caucasus in cooperation with Movetia, the seminar formed part of the Beyond Borders Strategic Networking Activity (SNAC), which aims to strengthen cooperation between Erasmus+ Programme Countries and neighbouring partner regions, including Eastern Europe and the Caucasus, the Western Balkans, and the Southern Mediterranean.
The seminar focused on an innovative concept: using game design and educational tools as a methodology for promoting intercultural dialogue, international partnerships, and youth engagement. Participants worked collaboratively to explore how games and interactive learning tools can make international cooperation more accessible, engaging, and meaningful for young people.
Representing YEAH, Armin Cerkez joined a diverse group of practitioners and experts committed to developing new approaches for fostering cooperation across borders. Throughout the programme, participants exchanged experiences, analysed the benefits of international youth cooperation, and worked together to design educational games and tools that can inspire young people to engage in Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps opportunities.
For YEAH, participation in this initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to innovation in non-formal education and youth work. Creative methodologies such as game-based learning can play a powerful role in making complex topics more understandable, encouraging participation, and strengthening intercultural understanding among young people from diverse backgrounds.
The seminar also provided valuable opportunities to establish new partnerships and explore future collaborative projects across Europe and neighbouring regions. By connecting organisations with different experiences, perspectives, and expertise, the activity reinforced the importance of international cooperation in addressing common challenges and creating opportunities for young people.
We would like to thank SALTO Eastern Europe and Caucasus, Movetia, the facilitation team, and all participating organisations for creating a dynamic learning environment that encouraged creativity, collaboration, and innovation.
The ideas, partnerships, and educational tools developed through Beyond Games: unlocked(!) will continue to contribute to YEAH’s efforts to promote active citizenship, intercultural dialogue, and meaningful youth participation across Europe and beyond.
