Learning Through Creativity: Free Erasmus+ Workshops for Young People in Berlin

YEAH is pleased to support the dissemination of the international project Cartoons for Inclusion, an Erasmus+ Youth initiative that offers young people in Berlin an opportunity to develop creative skills while exploring important topics such as media literacy, freedom of expression, and social inclusion. 

The free two-day workshops invite young people to learn through creativity and collaboration. Participants will explore how cartoons, storytelling, street art, and audiovisual media can be used to address misinformation, encourage critical thinking, and promote democratic values. 

During the programme, participants will work alongside experienced youth facilitators, media professionals, journalists, filmmakers, animators, and artists who will guide them through practical, hands-on learning experiences. The workshops provide a unique opportunity to develop both creative and transferable skills that are valuable for education, employment, and active citizenship. 

In addition to gaining practical experience, participants will receive a Youthpass certificate recognising the competences they have developed throughout the activity. They will also have the opportunity to connect with other motivated young people from across Europe, become part of an international community, and contribute to a wider European creative initiative. 

At YEAH, we strongly believe that creativity, media literacy, and intercultural dialogue are essential competences for young people living in today’s digital world. Initiatives such as Cartoons for Inclusion encourage young people to think critically, express themselves creatively, and actively participate in shaping more inclusive and democratic societies.
